Episode 4

The Air Raid Heroes

June 28th and 29th 1942, Weston-Super-Mare saw two nights of ‘horror’ which saw more than 100 people killed, hundreds more injured and many landmarks levelled by 52 high-explosive bombs and more than 10,000 savage incendiary devices.

This episode is all about the event and the people who made a difference.
